Center for Surface Science and Nanotechnology - University Politehnica of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania
Training School Flyer
Description of the event
The Cost Action 15107 Training School will comprise a combined series of lectures and hands-on laboratories, over 4 days, on topics from carbon based nanomaterials synthesis such as SWCNTs, CNOs and Graphene, through PLA method, to their advanced characterization at nanometer and atomic scale, using different state-of-the-art investigation systems such as AFM, STEM, XRD, Raman Spectrometer, etc. The applications of the carbon based nanomaterials and nanocomposites will also be discussed during the event.
The speakers, leading academic and industry experts, will provide trainees with their insights of the forefront research in the field. The Training School intends to help the participants to acquire (to enrich) the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical working skills regarding the multi-functional nano-carbon materials.
If you are interested in applying for a Grant Request from MultiComp CA 15107, you must prepare a written statement regarding the nature of your research and send it with your CV to the Local Organizer (training_school@cssnt-upb.ro). Young Researchers (YRs) must also submit an official letter from their department stating that they are enrolled in a PhD program.
All the ACCEPTED PARTICIPANTS will be invited to give a 10-15 min oral or poster presentation during the Training School about their current research activity!
